Church Wiener Roast and Pastor Appreciation

The past couple of weeks has been busy for our Church. We had our annual Church wiener roast and then this past Sunday was our Pastor Appreciation Day. We are so blessed to have Pastor Kenneth Teter and His wife, Deloris, has our Pastor. They are the sweetest couple. They have been at our Church for 34 years. They have not always been my pastor, only for the last 8 years. It seems like they have always been though. Right now, we could not ask for a better Pastor.

Below is pictures of the wiener roast and pastor appreciation. My digital camera was not working when we actually presented them with their gifts, I had to use my film camera, so those pictures are coming later, when I get my film developed.

Things that I like to do...

Fall is one of my favorite time of year, and I think that it is finally here. There for awhile, I was wondering if it would ever come. I hope everyone enjoys it as mush as I do.
Gale has given me a challenge to list some things that I like to do, so here they are.

1. In the fall have a wiener roast and sit around the fire with Family and Friends.

2. Scrapbooking is a hobby that I love to do. Recently I have been going to a scrapbooking extravaganza and love it. Each time it is for 5 hours. I am now starting up a Scrapbooking Women's Fellowship, for the ladies of my Church. Should be fun.

3. Doing my Home and Garden Parties. I love to meet new people and to share the things that I love. Since I have been doing this, I have met so many new people and made so many new Friends. Some who feel like family and I can count on just like they were my family.

4. Spending time with my Nieces and Nephews. I like to spoil them and then send them back to their parents. I can really never tell them NO when they want all the sweets and pop. My brothers and sisters still love me when I do this.

5. Riding 4 wheelers with my husband. I also like to go and watch him race his 4 wheeler. I am not as daring as he is, but like some challenges. One thing that I do not like to do, is get into the mud. A few weeks ago I did get stuck, and almost freaked out. I had to have someone get it out for me, so I didn't get the mud on me.

For now, this is all I can think of. It is late and my mind is not working properly.

So Funny

Today, I was watching Ayden, and he had gone upstairs. On his way down, he fell. After that I told him that he could not go back up. He kept wanting to, so I told him that he could, but when he was ready to come down, he had to holler for Becky. He went up, and a few minutes later, I heard him yell "holler". Tom and I started laughing. Instead of saying "Becky", he said "holler". Kids are so funny and never know what they are going to say. I know all of you "Mom's" already know that.

The Weekend

This past weekend, my sisters, Rachel and Julie were home from Virginia. Our family got together and had a weiner roast. It was a fun time and enjoyed our visit with everyone. Below is some pictures of our fun evening. Also on Friday, I took my niece Cynthia scrapbooking. She really enjoyed it, so here is a picture of her with the pages that she did.
