~Snow Riding~

Last weekend we had a few inches of snow, and on Monday when Ayden came to my house, his daddy brought his sleds. He wanted to go snow riding. So Tom took him snow riding. Here are a few pictures of them. Love the ones of Ayden.

Virginia Trip

Last Friday, my brother Danny and I, took off for Virginia to visit my sisters Rachel and Julie. Rachel knew that I was coming but Julie did not. I was wanting to surprise them both, but they had plans to attend a Christmas concert and had to have tickets, so I had to tell Rachel. I really surprised Julie. I hid in her shower, and when she came into the bathroom, I slowly pulled back the curtains. All she could do was stand there and scream as she was stomping her feet. Rachel, Danny and I just laughed. Julie scares very easy. She said it was well worth it. I just love them. We stayed until Sunday afternoon and came home. We all had a fun time.

~Thanksgiving~

I love the song "Count your Blessings, name them one by one", but it really goes thru my mind this time of year. I am so thankful for the many blessings that God has given me. God is such an AWESOME God, and cannot even begin to count ALL of the blessings.
Here are just a few.

1. A loving Heavenly Father.
2. My Wonderful Husband
3. My awesome family
4. Wonderful In Laws
5. Church Family
6. JR Church Kids-love them all

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with my family. All was there but Debbie, Rachel,Julie, Douglas and Sarah. Missed them so much. Ate way to much food, but all was very delicious. Enjoyed taking pictures of my family even when they don't want it taken. I think by now, they are realizing I will ALWAYS have a camera handy:) That evening went to my In Laws and enjoyed our time with them. My Mother in law fixed supper, but I did not have anything, still to stuffed from dinner. She did send food home with us, so I still ate, just not then.

Here are some pictures from our day. Enjoy!!

~Christmas Tree~

I have finally put my Christmas tree up. I started on it Saturday, but did not finish it until Monday. The reason............ALL of my lights did not work. I had to throw them all away. I was very sad. It was kind of late on Saturday, therefore really did not have time to make it to the store and kind of short on funds. But on Monday, all is well, my sweet Mother in law, purchased me some new lights. YEA! Now I am excited and my tree is ALL decorated. I LOVE my tree. I hope you all enjoy the pics, while I enjoy the real thing:)

~Cute~

Sunday, was the first time I got to take Ayden to Church with me. He is the little boy that I watch a couple times a week. He LOVED it. When we got there (we were a few minutes late) He saw some of the girls up front singing, so he wanted to. A while back, he was saying something about good, good, good, and it reminded me of the the song "Well it's good, good, good away from where I stood. The way is straight and narrow but it's good, good, good. It makes we want to sing, and witness for my King. The way is straight and narrow but it's good, good, good." Well I taught him this song, and He loves to sing it. This is what he wanted to sing today I wasn't sure if he would actually sing it or not, but he did. He did really good. During Sunday, I guess he talked the whole time, but he sweet teacher let him, but he also learned his lesson. He is one smart little guy. The things he would say, people kept asking me "how old is he?" He is 3, very smart for his age. This picture is of Ayden, and the turkey head band was a craft that we did in JR Church. I also added a picture of Hayley, Aydens new little friend.

~VOTE~

I voted today, how about you? When I went to vote, they did not have my name on there papers, AGAIN. When I went in, I had a paper with me to help me know who to vote for. A lady told me that they could not see that paper. Well, when they could not find my name, she said, "oh well". Yea I know who she was for. Made me mad, because all out in front of the voting site, Obama signs EVERYWHERE. I don't think that should be allowed, but they are there. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

~2008 Church Weiner Roast~

Last night, we had our Church's weiner roast and hayride. The kids had a blast. Something very unique happened at our weiner roast though. One of the little boys that has been coming to Church since August, his parents came and were saved. They wanted to go to the Church and pray. Wow what an amazing night. The highlight for the evening was the kids on the hayride. The loved it, and wanted to sing Christmas songs, so we did. Gotto love those kiddos:)
Enjoy the pics.

~Another Article~

I got this article off of Sean Hannity's website and thought that I would share.

Becky

Obama Staffer (Former Clinton Staffer) Spills the Beans
This is so amazing and were is the main media on this. Go Figure.
Dr. Lynette Long — a frequent contributor to this blog, a recent and influential member of Democratic national committees, a prominent supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton, and now a McCain/Pain supporter — just forwarded this to me from her “contact,” and asked that this be posted immediately. It is an astonishing read. Feel free to grab this for your own blogs, and send it on to friends by e-mail.
After a long and careful consideration of all the implications and possible consequences of my actions today, I have decided to go through with this in the hope that our country can indeed be guided into the right direction.
First, a little personal background… I am a female grad student in my 20’s, and a registered Democrat. During the primaries, I was a campaign worker for the Clinton candidacy. I believed in her and still do, staying all the way to the bitter end. And believe me, it was bitter. The snippets you’ve heard from various media outlets only grazed the surface. There was no love between the Clinton and Obama campaigns, and these feelings extended all the way to the top. Hillary was no dope though, and knew that any endorsement of Obama must appear to be a full-fledged one. She did this out of political survival.
As a part of his overall effort to extend an olive branch to the Clinton camp and her supporters, Obama took on a few Hillary staff members into his campaign. I was one such worker. Though I was still bitterly loyal to Hillary, I still held out hope that he would choose her as VP. In fact, there was a consensus among us transplants that in the end, he HAD to choose her. It was the only logical choice. I also was committed to the Democratic cause and without much of a second thought, transferred my allegiance to Senator Obama.
I’m going to let you in on a few secrets here, and this is not because I enjoy the gossip or the attention directed my way. I’m doing this because I doubt much of you know the true weaknesses of Obama.Another reason for my doing this is that I have lost faith in this campaign, and feel that this choice has been forced on many people in this country.
Put simply, you are being manipulated. That was and is our job – to manipulate you (the electorate) and the media (we already had them months ago). Our goal is to create chaos with the other side, not hope.
I’ve come to the realization (as the campaign already has) that if this comes to the issues, Barack Obama doesn’t have a chance. His only chance is to foster disorganization, chaos, despair, and a sense of inevitability among the Republicans.
It has worked up until now. Joe the Plumber has put the focus on the issues again, and this scares us more than anything. Being in a position to know these things, I will rate what the Obama campaign already knows are their weak links from the most important on down.
1 – Hillary voters. Internal polling suggests that at best, we are taking 70-75% of these voters. Other estimates are as low as 60% in some areas – particularly Ohio and western PA.
My biggest problem with this campaign’s strategy was the decision NOT to offer Hillary the VP slot. She was ready and able to take this on, and would have campaigned enthusiastically for it.This selection would have also brought virtually all of her supporters into the fold, and the Obama campaign knew it. Though I have no way of knowing this for certain, and I do admit that I am relying on internal gossip, Senator Obama actually went against the advice of his top advisors. They wanted him to choose her, but the only significant opposition to this within the campaign came from Barack and Michelle Obama. In short, he let personal feelings take precedence over what was the most logical thing to do.Biden, by the way, has been a disaster inside the campaign. Everyone cringes whenever he gives an interview, and he creates so many headaches as the campaign has to stay on their toes in order to disseminate information and spin whatever it was he was trying to say.
2 – Sarah Palin. Don’t believe what the media is telling you about how horrible a choice she was. Again, our internal polling suggests that though she has had a minimal impact on pulling disaffected Hillary Democrats to McCain, she has done wonders in mobilizing the base for McCain.
Another thing – we were completely taken by surprise with her pick. In my capacity in the research department, I looked into the backgrounds of Leiberman, Romney, Pawlenty and Ridge, and prepared briefs. I don’t mind bragging that we had pretty good stuff on all of them. With Leiberman, the plan was to paint him as an erratic old-timer who didn’t have a clue as to what he was doing (pretty much a clone of McCain). In Romney, we had him pegged as an evil capitalist who cut jobs. Pawlenty was going to get the “Quayle treatment”, or more precisely: a pretty face, with no valid experience. Tom Ridge was going to be used to provide a direct link from McCain to Bush. As you can see, we were quite enamored of all of them.
Then the unexpected happened – Sarah Palin. We had no clue as to how to handle her, and bungled it from the start. Though through our misinformation networks, we have successfully taken some of the shine off. But let there be no doubt. She remains a major obstacle. She has singlehanded solidified “soft” Republican support, mobilized the McCain ground game, and has even had some appeal to independents and Hillary voters. This is what our internal polling confirms.
3 – Obama’s radical connections. Standards operating procedure has been to cry “racism” whenever one of these has been brought up. We even have a detailed strategy ready to go should McCain ever bring Rev. Wright up.
Though by themselves they are of minimal worth, taken together, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Father Pfelger, and now, Rashid Khalili, are exactly what the campaign does not need. The more focus on them, the more this election becomes a referendum on Obama. The campaign strategy from the very beginning was to make this election a referendum on Bush.Strategists have been banging their heads on how successfully McCain has distanced himself from Bush. This has worked, and right now the tide is in his favor. People are taking a new look at Barack Obama, and our experience when this happens tells us this is not good news at all. When they take a look at him, one or more of these names are bound to be brought up.McCain has wisely not harped on this in recent weeks and let voters decide for themselves. This was a trap we set for him, and he never fully took the bait. Senator Obama openly dared him to bring up Ayers. This was not due to machismo on the part of Obama, but actually due to campaign strategy. Though McCain’s reference to Ayers fell flat in the last debate, people in the Obama campaign were actually disappointed that he didn’t follow through on it more and getting into it.Our focus groups found this out: When McCain brings these connections up, voters are turned off to him. They’d rather take this into consideration themselves, and when this happens, our numbers begin to tank.
4 – The Bradley Effect. Don’t believe these polls for a second. I just went over our numbers and found that we have next to no chance in the following states: Missouri, Indiana, North Carolina, Florida, New Hampshire and Nevada. Ohio leans heavily to McCain, but is too close to call it for him. Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa are the true “toss up states”.The only two of these the campaign feels “confident” in are Iowa and New Mexico. The reason for such polling discrepancy is the Bradley Effect, and this is a subject of much discussion in the campaign. In general, we tend to take a -10 point percentage in allowing for this, and are not comfortable until the polls give us a spread well over this mark. This is why we are still campaigning in Virginia and Pennsylvania! This is why Ohio is such a desperate hope for us! What truly bothers this campaign is the fact that some pollsters get up to an 80% “refuse to respond” result. You can’t possibly include these into the polls. The truth is, people are afraid to let people know who they are voting for. The vast majority of these respondents are McCain supporters. Obama is the “hip” choice, and we all know it.As part of my research duties, I scour right wing blogs and websites to get somewhat of a “feel” as to what is being talked about on the other side. Much of it is nonsense, but there are some exceptions which give the campaign jitters. A spirited campaign has been made to infiltrate many pro-Hillary sites and discredit them. A more disorganized, but genuine effort has also been made to sow doubts among the unapologetically right wing sites such as redstate.com.Don’t you guys get it? This has been the Obama campaign’s sole strategy from the very beginning! The only way he wins is over a dispirited, disorganized, and demobilized opposition. This is how it has been for all of his campaigns. What surprises me is that everyone has fallen for it. You may point to the polls as proof of the inevitability of all of this.If so, you have fallen for the oldest trick in the book. How did we skew these polls, you might ask? It all starts with the media “buzz” which has been generated over the campaign. Many stories are generated on the powerful Obama ground game, and how many new voters were registered............

~My Cousin~

I would like for you to pray for my cousin, Tanya. She is very concerned with the election, (which I know we all are.) She says she can't decide who to vote for. She says she really doesn't want to vote for McCain, because she doesn't want another 4 yrs of Bush. She really doesn't want to vote for Obama, she thinks he is in "Sheeps clothing". I have been talking to her this evening about this but pray that I will tell her the right things. Her Mom and Dad are voting Obama and are upset that she is even having problems deciding. She told her Mom that whenever she thinks of Obama, she gets a sick feeling in her gut. Her Mom told her that was because he is "black". Tanya has nothing against black people nor do I. Please pray that she makes the right decision.

~Election~

I read this article on Julie Gurnee's blog, and thought that I would share with you!

Subject: This election is not lost!

Dear Friends in Christ,

Are you sensing that there is something different about this presidential election? I was telling someone just recently that it seems like this election is far more serious than those in the recent past. Something in my spirit is very uneasy. In the past I have felt the need to pray for different elections but I have never felt so strongly the urge to pray, and pray fervently, for an election as I do for this one. I truly believe that if the wrong person (Obama) is elected this nation will be changed forever. We may not be able to undo the things that will be unleashed during an Obama presidency. My concern about an Obama presidency is not based on politics; it is based on righteousness.

Look at any of the major moral issues (abortion, homosexuality etc.) and you will find Obama on the wrong side of the issue, and Palin and McCain on the right side of the issue. What makes this so disturbing is that the Obama team has raised far more money than McCain/Palin and the media is unabashedly supporting Obama with every story and headline they write. Currently McCain/Palin is behind in the polls and is having a very difficult time. Some in the media have suggested that the race is over and there is little or nothing McCain can do to change the outcome. Oh how wrong they are!

Let me briefly share a story I recently read in 2 Samuel Chapter 5. David had just become king of Israel and the Philistines went up to wage war against him. So David inquired of the Lord and said, 'Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?' The LORD said, 'Yes I will surely hand them over to you.' So David went and defeated them. He said, 'As waters break out, the LORD has broken out against my enemies before me.' After suffering a great loss in the first battle the Philistines must have thought they now knew David defense strategy and they would be ready for him the next time, because once more the Philistines came up to attack David. So once again David inquired of the LORD, but this time the Lord gave different instructions. He said to David, 'Do not go straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the balsam trees. As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, move quickly, because that will mean the LORD has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.' David obeyed the Lord and was victorious.

This story holds a very important lesson for us at this time. In most presidential elections a frontal assault, a face-to-face battle, is what is needed. But this is no ordinary election. McCain is trying all the normal tactics but he is not prevailing. It seems no matter what he sa ys or does it is not effective. I am convinced this election CANNOT be won using normal methods. Just as the Lord told David to go around behind the enemy and attack him there, so we must go around the face of this election and wage war where the battle is truly raging… in the spiritual realm! The fact that the normal physical methods are not effective this time should tell us that this is a very important spiritual battle and we can only win by using spiritual methods… Prayer!

What about the sound of marching in the treetops? What is that? I have read on the Internet several accounts of fellow Christians being stirred up in their spirits to pray. Many have been drawn into times of deep prayer and weeping as they intercede for Palin and McCain. Some have woke up in the middle of the night and sensed a great need to pray, other have told of how when they heard about Sarah Palin being chosen as VP that something came over them and t hey wept and felt a need to pray for Her and McCain. Many others are feeling the calling and urging of the Spirit to enter into a time of fervent prayer and fasting for Palin and McCain and our nation.

What is this unusual stirring that is occurring? I believe it is the Sound of the Lord marching in the trees, calling his children to act quickly to pray and fast for Palin and McCain. Think about this, what would the marching have sounded like to David? It may have sounded like the rustling of leaves as when wind blows through them, but was this time something was different and out of the ordinary. Maybe it was like the sound of the great wind when the Spirit moved on the day of Pentecost. Also, God's people are referred to as Trees of Righteous in Isaiah 61. So the sound of the Lord marching in the treetops in David's time is a portrait of the Spirit of the Lord moving among and stirring up his children today.

So what are we to do when we sense this stirring of the Spirit? Two things, first we are to take it as the sign that the Lord is moving out in front of us. Anytime the Lord calls us to do something he goes ahead of us to prepare the way and fight for us. When Joshua returned from spying out Jericho the Lord gave him insight to see that the Lord had removed the Jericho 's protection so Israel could defeat them. When the Lord calls us into battle he goes ahead of us, removes the enemy's protection, and fights for us to give us the victory. Secondly, the Lord tells us when we sense the stirring of the Spirit we are to act quickly and join Him in the battle (through prayer, fasting, praise and obedience)

This election is by no means lost. For God would not be stirring up his children all across this nation and indeed around the world, to pray, if he did not want to give us the victory in this election. And he wants us to join him in the battle. God will hear the cries of his children if we will only cry out to him with fervent, earnest, prayers for this election and this nation. If those who are being drawn to prayer by the Spirit will indeed enter into a time of prayer and seeking His face, then God will have mercy on America spare us from having an ungodly leader, I'm sure of it!

One more thought, after the last debate, so-called 'conservative' David Brooks gushed about Obama, 'I thought Obama had the night he needed to have. You know, through this whole 20 month marathon, I think what struck me is how incredibly even he is. And how frankly reassuring he is. It is like you're camping, and you wake up one morning, and there is a mountain. And then the next morning, there is a mountain, and there's the next morning, there's a mountain. Obama is just the mountain. He is just there. He is always the same, he doesn't hurt himself. McCain can sometimes lob a cannonball at the mountain, but the mountain doesn't move, and the mountain doesn't care. And so I think his steadiness, his temperament has been the dramatic theme of this campaign, dramatic in being undramatic. And it was on display tonight. And the good part of the mountain is that he is reassuring and reliable.'

I'm really glad he used the word 'mountain' to describe Obama. It caused me to remember what Jesus said about unmovable mountains. Jesus said, I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'

And it only takes a little faith!

This election can only be won by going around the face of the election and attacking the enemy where he is vulnerable, through prayer, fasting and praise. If you hear the sound of the Lord marching in the tree tops, if you feel the stirring of the Spirit calling y ou to pray, then move quickly into a time of prayer, for God is moving ahead of you at that time to give us the victory. May God give us ears to hear the marching!

Together with you in the battle,

~Do You Remember?~

A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they Imagine that America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience To themselves.Pause a moment, reflect back. These events are actual events from history.. They really happened!!!
Do you remember?
1. 1968 Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male extremist.
2. In 1972 at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim male extremists.
3. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim male extremists.
4. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon By Muslim male extremists.
5. In 1983, the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim male extremists.
6. In 1985 the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70 year old America n passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim male extremists.
7. In 1985 TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens , and a US Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim male extremists.
8. In 1988 , Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim male extremists.
9. In 1993 the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim male extremists.
10. In 1998, the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim male extremists.
11. On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim male extremists.
12. In 2002 the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim male extremists.
13. In 2002 reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and murdered by-- you guessed it-- Muslim male extremists.
No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?
So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people... Absolutely No Profiling! They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots
with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males alone lest they be guilty of profiling..
According to The Book of Revelations:The Anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40s, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will flock to him and He will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is In power, He will destroy everything. And Now: For the award winning Act of Stupidity Of all times the People of America want to elect, to the most Powerful position on the face of the Planet -- The Presidency of the United states of America ... A Male of Muslim descent who is the mo s t extremely liberal Senator in Congress (in other words an extremest) and in h is 40s.Have the American People completely lost their Minds, or just their Power of Reason ??? I'm sorry but I refuse to take a chance on the 'unknown' candidate Obama...Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other stupid attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel ashamed of themselves -- if they have any such sense. As the writer of the award winning story 'Forrest Gump' so aptly put it, 'Stupid Is As Stupid Does' Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet...do it!

~Another Song~

~A Song~

Ok, I took this off of Julie's blog, but I liked it and thought that I would share.

Please watch

Thanks Michele for sharing.

~Pastor gives message to McCain/Palin~

I received the following in an email yesterday, and wanted to share. This is a true story.

This past Tuesday, the McCain / Palin Bus came through a little town called, Lebanon, Ohio.
The LORD allowed me to go to the Rally giving them a message that He wanted me to personally deliver.

Sunday Night - a burden hit me that would only shake me to my knees - I prayed and wept for our Nation. Never has my heart been so broken before God. I literally interceded for these wonderful people who do not deserve all the hate against them. The GOD-Haters are going to try everything to stop them, but they will not succeed!

God is not pleased with the 'bashing' in the News of this 'Anointed' person. He has called her for this time! I promised God that I would pray and hold them up in prayer. I would 'listen' out and be mindful of where they were. The following day is important in this time-line...because I didn't even know until God spoke to me...

Monday and into Monday Night - the burden of prayer was so heavy that I was literally shaking and could not stop weeping. I didn't know that they were coming to Ohio. I prayed and walked and wept and walked. I prayed and prayed and wept and prayed...

Tuesday at 2:00 A.M. - God spoke these words to me - '...Go turn the Radio on!' Immediately the the Reporter's Words were - 'McCain & Palin Bus to be in Lebanon later this morning for a 10:00 A.M. Rally!'

Immediately on hearing that news, I heard God again...
God said, 'You are to go. You will meet them and give them a message for Me!'

I prayed as an intercessor and went to a place in prayer that I don't think I've ever been...because the LORD had just visited me...and I knew I was on a 'Mission.' I had now been up since Sunday Night...and now it's Tuesday and I've got to go on the 'WORD of the LORD.' He sure became My Strength as this unfolds...

I didn't stop praying until I drove over to the town and parked the car. The News would later report they were expecting 5,000 people and the actual head-count of those who had been scanned was more than 10,000 people.

I simply obeyed...and God actually told me where to stand, who to talk to...and when to be on the
move. I had sure learned on the Mission Field, when God wants to open a door, He will do it at the appropriate time. He always has someone to assist...and even those standing beside you may just be an Angel.

I struck up a conversation with an agent on the ground - he simply said, 'I can't allow you to stand here!'
Here was where the bus was going to actual pull up to. They had to make a much larger perimeter so the entire area was now being moved back several blocks. The only other thing he told me to do was to go through the metal detector zone and just watch from the back. So, that's what I did.

Due to sensitivity of the internet...I can't share much of the story as to what happened next was a definite GOD THING ALL THE WAY.

Looking over the shoulders and backs and heads of all those people...I knew it would take a miracle for what GOD told me to do.

As I was standing there, two Boy Scouts came running up my back...literally, they almost knocked me to the ground because they were running so fast behind me...up my back and over to the right. These Boy Scouts were about Junior High Age. Their Scout Leader and several others were behind them...but as the two out front was trying to push through the crowd, saying they were late...the smaller scouts were left in their dust. The Scout Leader who was with a McCain Rep from the State grabbed me and told me bring the other Scouts up front as they try to keep up with the first two that just came through.

I just became the leader of the rest of the Scouts to lead them right up front and center. As the Rep was shouting back at me...to bring the Scouts forward...the people parted just like God parted the Red Sea.

I marched them boys right up front and to the right of the stage as one was looking from the back. When I got there I was fifteen feet from the podium. GOD said, 'Stand here, and don't move from this spot.'

Within five minutes...the bus pulled up and around the other side McCain, Sarah Palin and her husband Todd stepped up and the speeches took off. I was where God placed me...and even Sarah Palin and Todd were standing on my side of the stage. I made eye contact, I gave them thumbs up gestures...and I knew they were just happy to see me standing there. Ha Ha

When they came around the podium and started on the other side, I knew they were coming right toward me, a little lady who stood by me, reached up and told the Rep that they had promised a Picture with her because she was the one who had lost a son in Iraq, recently. The Rep confirmed she would get a pic with them and they would talk to her. When McCain came to hug her... he immediately shook my hand and following his moment with her, I shook his hand as he grabbed my hand, now for the second time, and I said, 'God wants you to know that I'm praying for you, Sir!' He thanked me and kept smiling. I repeated that phrase to him five times. He grabbed my hands and looked right into my eyes and said, 'I won't make it without prayer. Sir, Thank You for praying for me, and don't let one day go by that you don't pray for me. I need all the prayers that I can get. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!'

As he moved to my right, Sarah Palin, came over to my left side...standing over the crowd and then looking at the little lady who had lost the son. It took a moment for her to shake some hands and people were pushing in all around. Sarah came and got on her hands and knees on that side of the stage and hugged that little Mom, telling her, '...it was not in vain.' She promised her support.

It was at this moment Sarah Palin, reached out for me to help her up and as I was assisting her to stand I was now face to face with her and GOD said, 'Open up your Mouth and I will fill it.'

Here is what came out...

'God wants you to know tha t you are a present day Esther!'
[She immediately began to cry]!
'God wants to tell you that you are Chosen for such a time as this!'
'You are called, and chosen to be a leader.'
'Don't lose heart and don't fear man.'
'The news and nay-sayers and criticizers are going to be very hateful toward you...
and in the days ahead they are going to turn up the heat...but do not fear.'
'You are a present day Esther. You are an Esther. You are an Esther!'
'Keep your eyes on GOD and know that He has chosen you to Reign!'

'Stay strong...be strong...don't tire. Don't be weary in well-doing. Be strong.'

Her husband Todd came over and I told him what I told her. He began to cry. I emphasized the fact that he was to guard her at this time...and know that
'...she is GOD-CALLED and GOD-ANOINTED.'

'...this is a GOD-THING and your wife is a Present day Esther...she is for
God to use at this time...She is an Esther...she is an Esther...she is an Esther.'

'You will be hated...but stand strong...GOD has called both of you to stand!'
'We are praying and I am praying for you...!'

At this moment, McCain came right to where I was finishing talking to Todd and I told Mr. McCain exactly what I told to Sarah and Todd Palin.

'Mr. McCain, ...they are called of God and she is an Esther.'
'Don't lose hope and don't lose heart.'
'We are praying for all of you!'

He shook my hand and with a deep look of understanding what I had just said, he said, 'Thank you for your prayers and support...I really do mean that!'
And he turned and shook more hands...and I watched them as they went through the crowd.

When I got to my car I sat there for quite a long time...knowing the GOD of the Universe had just used me to deliver a message confirming to Sarah and Todd to realize they are truly chosen vessels of God.

I wept. I have not stopped praying and crying. My heart is full knowing they had to have all the staging and all the hype and all the crowd...but the GOD of Heaven and Earth...wanted to give them a Divine-God-Appointment!

To God be all the GLORY and HONOR.

If anyone wants to know if I believe God can speak. Yes...Absolutely, is my Answer!

Burdened for all of our Leaders!

~Old Man's Cave~

Today Tom and I went to Old Man's Cave. I was wanting some fall pictures, so He wanted to go there. I was not planning on walking the whole thing, but guess what, we did. I was so tired after that, but we had a great time. It was very crowded, I think since it is a 3 day weekend. Hope you enjoy our pictures. Happy Fall!!

~Silly Ayden~

Today as I was watching Ayden, I mentioned something to Tom about the Democrats. Well he over heard me and said "Oh those Delicrats are so cheap". Not sure where he got the cheap part from, but we thought that it was pretty funny how he pronounced democrats.

~When I~

"When I am down, He lifts me up. When I am sad, He makes me glad. When I feel lonely, He covers me with His love. When I feel like know one cares, He is always there."

Here lately the devil has really been fighting me and I can't take much more, so it seems. I know in times like this, God is there for me. Sometimes it doesn't seem that way, but I know deep down that it is. God always brings a certain song to my mind, when I feel this way.

Jesus is all the world to me: My life, my joy, my all.
He is my strength, from day to day; without Him I would fall.
When I am sad, to Him I go; No other one can cheer me so.
When I am sad, He makes me glad. He's my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me, My Friend in trials sore.
I go to Him for blessings, and He gives them o'er and o'er.
He sends the sunshine and the rain; He sends the harvest's golden grain:
Sunshine and rain, harvest of grain. He's my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me, And true to Him I'll be.
Oh, how could I this Friend deny, when He's so true to me?
Following Him I know I'm right. He watches o'er me day and night.
Following Him by day and night, He's my Friend.

Jesus is all the world to me; I want no better friend.
I trust Him now; I'll trust Him when, Life's fleeting days shall end.
Beautiful life with such a Friend; Beautiful life that has no end.
Eternal life, eternal joy, He's my Friend.

My prayer is to be more like Him, and to trust Him for everything, no matter how rough life may get. Please just pray for me.

~Labor Day~

Today, we got together at my brother, Dan's house for cookout. All of my brothers and sisters were there and there families, except for Mark's wife and daughter. We had a great time as usual and enjoyed the fellowship. Of course, I have to have my camera to capture all of the crazy moments of the family. They are getting tired of seeing me with my camera. Some will say "it's not fair that you are always getting our pictures;" I just tell them that is ok. I would rather take the pictures than have mine taken.

Enjoy the pics!

~PRAY~

I know that it seems like all I ever get done doing, is asking you to pray. This time, my Mom's nephew, passed away on Sunday evening. He was in his mid 60's. It was kind of unexpected. Sunday morning he woke up and wasn't sure if he was having a heart attack or a stroke. Took him to the hospital, and had to have surgery. One of his heart valves exploded and was in surgery 8 or 9 hours. This all happened because He did not take His blood pressure medicine like He should have. Needless to say he did not make it. As far as I know, he was a Christian. Please just pray for his wife, Betty and daughters, Lori and Tonya. He has one sister and several brothers. He does have a big family. As far as I know they are not showing him, that is what he wanted. Thank you for the prayers.

~PLEASE PRAY~

I would like for you to please pray for my Nephew Timothy. I cannot go into detail about Him,, but He REALLY needs prayer. I can tell you that He is not a christian, and needs God. Right now my heart is breaking for Him. He is the sweetest boy and has gotten into some trouble in the past, and it seems that the devil is working overtime on Him.

~HAPPY BIRTHDAY~

....to my wonderful husband. I thank God for you daily, and I am so glad that He brought us together. I cannot imagine life without. You are my BEST Friend!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night (Thursday, July 31st) I had a get together with the kids in JR Church. We were going to go roller skating, but it was closed, due to getting new floors. We had games and pizza at our Fellowship Hall, and had a good time. I think I had 15 kids, and there was 6 or 7 adults. We played baseball had pizza, played baseball again then we played kick ball until 9:30 or 10. Some of the kids did not want to leave then there were others that were so worn out that wanted to. All in all a good time was had by all:)

~THE STORM~

Around 3:55 this morning, I was wakened by the sound of wind, rain and thunder. This is unusual for me, but for some reason I was. I went into the other bedroom to look out the window to check things out, didn't think it was to bad, went back to bed and a few minutes later, got back up and went into the other bedroom, again. As I was heading back to bed the electricity went out, and then I decided to wake up Tom. I told him that we needed to go downstairs because of the storm, but he really did not agree. But it wasn't long that he decided he better. We did not need candles to see, because the lightning was constant and very bright. When we got down there we opened the front door, but could not see a thing. I then told him we needed to get into the closet, and we did, praying. By this time the wind was blowing so bad, raining and hailing. I was scared, not only for us, but for the local Church camp that was right down the road from us. God heard our prayers, not long after I started praying, the storm quieted. We now know that God was in this storm. The camp, no one was hurt, but oh so much damage. Not one cabin, dorm and the Tabernacle was damaged. There were trees everywhere, and power lines down. They had to cancel the camp and also the camp coming up next week. We finally got our power back on a little after midnight!! I will post pictures later of this storm, had to use my phone for pictures. The amazing thing about this, there was not one person that was killed or injured in this storm. They say that the winds reached 11o mph. They have not declared a tornado as of yet, just thinking straight line winds.

"God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, He's so Good to me."

~Family Get Together~

On Saturday, July 5th, we all got together for a cookout at my brother Dan's house. The food was yummy and the fellowship was great. The kids all had fun on the swing that Uncle Danny has and the rope hanging out of the tree that made for some good laughs when they when end up on the ground hitting their "buttocks" as Alex says. Silly kids. Danny is in the process of remodeling his house and adding on to it, so today, Michael and David helped him by getting quite a few things done and out of the way for him. Dan is quite pleased now of how things are turning out.

~Happy Father's Day~

Happy Father's Day Dad! I am so thankful that God has given you to me as a Father. You are the greatest Dad anyone could ask for. I love the life that you live, the Godliness that you show and the example that you are. When I look at you, and see God in you, and I know others do too. I love you Dad, and hope we have many Father's Days to come. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

~Are We Ever Alone?~

I received this in an email, and wanted to share. This touched me so much, and I am so thankful for God's unconditional love that He shows me each and every day. Isn't God amazing?

Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of passage?

His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him
alone.
He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the
blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it.

He cannot cry out for help to anyone. Once he survives the night, he is a Man.
He cannot tell the other boys of this experience because each lad must
come into manhood on his own.

The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild
beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do
him harm.

The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he
sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way
he could become a man!

Finally, after a horrific night, the sun appeared and he removed his
blindfold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the
stump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm.

We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, our Heavenly
Father is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When
trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him.

Moral of the Story:
Just because you can't see God doesn't mean He is not there.

'For we walk by faith; Not by sight.'
~ 2 Corinthians 5:7

If you liked this story, pass it on. If not, perhaps you took off your
blindfold before dawn.

Dad's Party

On Saturday, May 31, we had Dad's 90th birthday party. I did not get many pictures, since my batteries went dead, and had no extra. We were wanting to have this as a surprise, but that did not happen. We had to tell him about it. We had a wonderful time.

~It's Official~

My Wonderful Father is 90. Today is His big birthday. No He does not look like He is 90 nor does He act it. He is very active. In the spring, He starts selling produce, along the highway and does this until August. In the fall He will cut and split His own firewood. Yes He has had His ups and downs with His health, but we thank God that He has given us all these years with Him. He is truly a man of God. I love Him so much. He is the best Father anyone could ever ask for. Whenever we tell people how old He is, they don't believe us. We are having a party for him on Saturday. Will post pictures of that.

Now you tell me if you think He looks 90 or not.

~Happy Mother's Day~

I want to wish my Mother a Happy Mother's Day. I personally feel that I have the world's best Mom. Tonight in Church, she testified, that she feels like she has failed her children. I am here to tell you that she has not failed us at all. She is always there for us no matter what time of the day or night it is. She has raised all of her children to love God, to have our devotions, to turn to Him for EVERYTHING. She is truly living her life for God, and is an example, not only to us, but to others around her. Here lately, I have had so many people come up to me and tell me that as long as they have known her, she has not changed, and I am so thankful for that. Mom, I love you dearly and am so thankful for you.

Today I also had Mom and Dad over for Dinner, and had an enjoyable time.

~Our Special Time~

On our anniversary, we went to a cabin in Hocking Hills. It was a cute little cabin, with a hot tub. It was out in the middle of no where. That night we grilled out and relaxed in the hot tub. The next day, we went to Cedar Falls and Rock House Caves. Later that night we had our anniversary dinner at our favorite resturant, Texas Roadhouse.

Our Anniversary day
